Classes

At last there are some new classes on the schedule.  First up is a 

BEGINNER CLASS

The chosen project is the "Courtyard Quilt" from the book "Fast & Fun 3 Yard Quilts" by Donna Robertson.  A book is included in the $50 class fee.  

The class meets Thursdays from 1-3 PM.  Because of Cotton Fields Quilt Shop obligations at two local quilt shows, the dates will be as following:  Sept. 12, 19, Oct. 3, 10, 17, 31.

Also on the schedule is a one day class "Serpentine", a good jelly roll project or stash buster (also fat quarter friendly).  $25 plus supplies, Saturday, Sept. 21, from 10-1.

Believe it or not, here's ANOTHER collection that I haven't had time to show off.  There was a period of two weeks when almost 50 new bolts arrived.  That's how I got behind!

Jacqueline

It was busy, busy, BUSY here last week with the anniversary sale.  I didn't get a chance to show  off one of the newest collections to arrive in the shop:  "Jacqueline" by QT Fabrics (formerly Quilting Treasures).  Lovely shades of pinks and blues, priced at $11.59/yard.

We had a little contest during the anniversary sale.  Entrants bought a pincushion kit and then decorated it to suit themselves.  Shoppers voted during the sale.  The viewers' choice award (and a $25 gift certificate) goes to Linda Koscianski of Greenville for her coffee themed pincushion.
