After I pieced my version, I decided to quilt it with big stitches using #12 pearl cotton.

There's a big stitch class coming up at Cotton Fields on April 28. Big stitch is ideal for people like me who want to do the hand work but don't have the time to traditionally quilt with little bitty stitches. I also like the decorative look of the big stitches.
