No-Joaquin Sale

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

It has been raining buckets here for days while we watched to see what Hurricane Joaquin would do.  He's missing the coast of North Carolina and we're all relieved.

Today and tomorrow I'm offering a sale on all batiks.  20% off bolts and pre-cuts.  If you've been paying attention you know that I have about 20 new bolts and a number of pre-cut batik options.  Come on in.  I've been a little lonely this week.

Discounts apply to in-store sales only.

*  Next week I'll be taking the show on the road and setting up a mini-store inside Knitting Addiction in Kitty Hawk.

*  Passports for the 2016 Romancing Eastern North Carolina Shop Hop have just gone on sale.  Details on the Facebook page of the same name.

Traveling

For the second time, Sally and I traveled to Kitty Hawk to set up a mini store inside KNITTING ADDICTION, a great yarn store.  Here I am, behind the set-up, with the store owner, Jeanne.

As an added attraction, we offered a little class on Friday afternoon, making "funky bird" blocks, that have been so popular back at the store.  They are based on an idea that I found in the book Hot Flashes of Inspiration.

I owe special thanks to Sally, my wonderful traveling companion and helper!

Purl the Cat wasn't impressed by any of it.
