Patience

These days we know that deliveries are kind of delayed and some things are in short supply.  It had been almost a month since a fabric delivery and today things flooded in!  One box of batting and SEVEN boxes of fabric.  I'm still unpacking but here's a taste of what I've unpacked so far.

New Wide Backing

Long awaited 108" wide backing fabrics from Windham Fabrics arrived this morning.  Very useful brown, navy and deep red.  $17.99/yard.

Wide backing

Last week saw the arrival of a new shipment of batting.  Cotton Fields has a complete selection of Quilters Dream Request Natural Cotton Batting, Quilters Dream Select 80/20 Cotton-Poly Blend Batting and Quilters Dream Request Polyester Batting.  The batting isn't especially photogenic though ....

This morning saw the arrival of three new wide quilt backing fabrics.  These are from Benartex and are priced at $17.99/yard.

That brings the number of wide backs up to FIFTEEN.  Lots of choices!

P&B Textiles

New fabrics in the store, courtesy of P&B Textiles.  They are my "go to" source for quality white on white and cream blenders.  All of which don't photograph well!  I have a nice selection of whites and creams, but you'll have to come in to see them (even one snowflakes print).

This pretty backing came in the delivery with the whites and creams.  It's a "Color Weave" backing, 108" wide, also from P&B Textiles.  The price is $18.99/yard.

110" Wide Backing

We ended up the week with a BANG ... three really pretty backings from P&B Textiles.  They are 110" wide instead of the more common 108" wide. $18.79/yard ... remember that this fabric is more than twice the width of regular fabric but less than twice the price.
