Marbella

People who know me know that I love blenders.  When my sales rep showed me Marbella, I couldn't make up my mind so I ordered them all.  Here are the first 15 that arrived at the shop on Thursday.  The other half of the collection will come next month.  All are priced at a wonderful $9.99/yard.  This beautiful collection comes to us from Benartex.

Christmas in MARCH?

Among the bolts in the massive delivery yesterday were these eight Christmas prints from QT Fabrics.  The Happy Christmas words, tossed Santa's and stars will coordinate nicely with fabrics already in the shop.  Pretty poinsettias and red and green textures always work too!  All are priced at $12.99/yard.

Cotton Fields Quilt Shop is participating in QUILTERS TREK this year, a continuation of Row By Row of past years, with some major changes.

1. Blocks instead of rows - shoppers will receive patterns for four 9" blocks.  Together they can be combined to make either an 18" block or a 36" row.

2. The starting date has moved up to May 22.  After that time you can pick up free patterns or buy kits at participating shops.

3.  "Tokens" are 2 1/2" squares tucked into kits like Cracker Jack prizes, collectable with many different designs.

4. The theme is "True Blue" which really leaves things wide open.  Cotton Fields has ordered the entire Quilters Trek collection from Timeless Treasures.  These blenders are $11.99/yard.
